Inspiration

In 2000, The Co-founders of Netflix, Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph, offered to sell the company to Blockbuster Video for $50 million dollars. In the meeting, the then CEO of Blockbuster Video, John Antioco apparently struggled not to laugh at them when they made the offer. It was of course declined.

Just 10 years later Blockbuster filed for bankruptcy, and today Netflix is worth $141.15 billion.
